10architect are currently working on proposals for various capital projects totalling over £14M for Wirral Met College at their 3 main campuses. The new Centre for English and Maths at the 12 Quays campus will provide 8 new classrooms, office space and a roof terrace providing communal space for students with fantastic views over the Mersey.

Taking inspiration from the area’s industrial heritage, the extension will be wrapped in CorTen steel and aluminium rainscreen cladding. It will become a key focal point in the rejuvenation of the campus, which in turn acts as a gateway to Birkenhead’s emerging Woodside masterplan.
